Riverwalk Park, a waterfront green space along the New River

represent Fort Lauderdale’s birth. This nonprofit initiative connects the city
through art, history events, and live entertainment. You’ll find lush tropical

Live Events

The Riverwalk is the center for the area’s most exciting
events! The Riverwalk Fall Festival in September is one of the most enjoyable
events of the season. Located at Esplanade Park, the city hosts a
family-friendly festival with carnival games, friendly competitions, face
painting, music, and food trucks. This is a fantastic event for the entire
family to enjoy.

Jazz brunch is a wonderful way to spend a relaxed Sunday at
the park! Bring your blankets, chairs, and picnic baskets to enjoy local jazz.
You can’t go wrong visiting this festive park any time of year! This event is
held on the first Sunday of each month.

Plenty to Eat and Drink

In addition to providing beautiful water views and
delectable bites, Riverwalk restaurants are also an excellent choice for hungry
passersby. Big
Buns Damn Good Burgers is a great place to grab a good burger, have a
cold beer, or sip on a refreshing cocktail. Another favorite is The Pirate Republic,
a terrific place for Caribbean eats and live music. It was even named one of
the best waterfront eateries in South Florida!

After dinner, check out The Wharf if you’re looking for an
evening vibe with music and drinks on the water.
